David’s Dance of the Month--The Touch Tango

David Tassinari has graciously submitted a large number of dances written by himself, some of his adult class skater, and coaches that he teaches with at the Silver City Skateland in Taunton, Massachusetts.  So, in future issues we will feature “David’s Dances.”  WE have published David’s dances in the past, and now want to let readers know that David has offered that any special requests for a dance tempo dance, that we let him know!  He might have a dance written or could write a new dance to fit requests!  What a wonderful offer to our readers.

Thank you, David, for all that you do for our sport and for the many dances written by you that skaters across the US and the world enjoy skating today.

This month we are featuring David’s Touch Tango, which is skated to a 96 Tango.  This is a forward dance, skated is side B position.  It is a great dance for new skaters and teaches angular stroking, pushing technique, and has some usual timing patterns.
